Our peephole / door viewer stands out from the rest as its fire safety approved. Supplied with an optional intumescent gasket the peephole is suitable for both 30 minute and 60 minute fire doors making it ideal for apartments, flats and commercial buildings where entrance doors are commonly required to be fire rated. In the event of a fire the intumescent gasket swells to create a seal around the door viewer / peephole, helping to prevent the spread of a fire. Made from optical grade glass, the view from your door will be crystal clear unlike those made with standard glass or plastic which are commonly blurred and with a 200 degree field of vision you can be sure to see everything that is happening right outside your door. To prevent people from looking into your home the peephole has a cover that closes over the hole. When fitting the peephole you will need a 14mm drill bit to fix this to the door.
